MANAGEMENT
ISDCM Executive Committee consists of 9 (Nine) Members, President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Treasurer and 5 (five) Members. This is the highest body for policy making. The Executive Committee is elected for a term of two years by the general body. The present Executive Committee has started functioning from 1st January 2008 and will continue upto December 2009 and this Committee will hand over power to the Executive Committee to be elected for the years 2010 and 2011. The Executive Committee has the power and functions, among others as under:
Financial management of the organization based on established rules and
special cases on the decisions of the Executive Committee.
1.1. Recruitment and Transfer of Staff
During the reporting period two Project Officers and two community Development Officers were recruited for Micro-finance project for poor women of Syedpur Camps and two Project Organizers were appointed for Micro-credit programme in Natore and Bonpara. Besides, 54 professional staff were recruited for Hygiene, Sanitation and Water Supply.
Project (HYSWA) in Naogaon District. This is a Joint Venture Project of ISDCM and HCL. The category of staff recruited is shown in the following table:

1.2. Monitoring and Evaluation System
ISDCM Projects and programmes are closely monitored through regular reporting and review at all levels. The Executive Committee held bi-monthly meetings and at the field level a system of monthly meeting and reporting system has been institutionalized. Regular reports are shared with the donors and partners as well.
During the period under report the Executive Committee organized seventeen meetings to review project activities. Thirteen meetings were held at the field levels to review and submit reports on the progress of the projects. Three joint review meetings with the donors and partners were held which have greatly helped improve implementation of programmes. Reports were prepared on all the completed projects and shared with the donors concerned, NGO Affairs Bureau, District and Upazila administration as per requirement. Evaluation of some projects was done by external expert. Its accounts were regularly audited by approved by auditors of NGO Affairs Bureau and reports were submitted to various agencies.
1.3. Mobilization of Support
from Local Administration and Community Organization
ISDCM Central and local offices mobilized very good
support from the concerned district and upazila administration, social welfare
officer, and community leaders for implementation of FDP projects, Community
Development Projects and Micro-Finance Projects in respective areas.
1.4. Panel of Experts
ISDCM has a Panel of Experts to help develop programmes and their effective implementation. This Panel of Experts is expanded from time to time drawing persons from various disciplines.
